Any day, every day, we can #showupforgood in doable and effective ways.

Kind

When you pass strangers on the street, say a cheerful "Howdy!" - it always ignites a smile and leaves your new friend remembering your cheerful demeanor. Kindness exists in our eyes, in our gestures, and in our interactions. Kindness is a feeling. Kindness is shared. Kindness is the easiest thing we can give each other. Spreading kindness can be as easy as remembering to say ‘thank you’ or smiling at another human. Let kindness live in you. Let it shine in you. See kindness in others, and don’t forget to feel kindness for yourself. #showupwithkindness

Considerate Actions

Be the change. Make the extra effort to help litter find its place, put your grocery cart away, wipe the toilet seat if you made a mess. Leave a place better than you found it.

Fun and Silliness

Fun is where you make it! Utilize and celebrate fun and silliness wherever and whenever you can. What happens if you skip instead of walk? What happens if you tell a silly knock knock joke to a stranger on an elevator? What happens if you dance to the tune of a street performer, or wave to everyone on the street from your window on the bus? What happens if you break out of society’s norms just a little bit and add a dose of fun to you and those around you? #showupwithfun #showupwithsilliness

Curiosity

“Guys have underestimated me my entire life and for years I never understood why – it used to really bother me. Then one day I was driving my little boy to school, and I saw a quote by Walt Whitman, it was painted on the wall there and it said, 'Be curious, not judgmental. ' I like that.” - Ted Lasso
