Jackie Burt

Jackie has a rich and varied history of creating innovative spaces for people of all ages to interact and thrive. She started Showupforgood in 2021 as a project meant to unify and spread good in doable and effective ways. Jackie is a visionary and believes in a world in which goodness is a guiding light, better organized, intentional, and impactful. She values human connection, art, innovation, and creativity in every project. Jackie loves cutting edges and existing outside of boxes. She seeks breakthroughs in communication and systems, and she is most comfortable challenging the status quo.

Jackie loves playing outdoors, dancing whenever the opportunity arises, spending time with her amazing family and friends, and fun spaces of any sort.

Tori Searles

Starting her professional career as a teacher who received special education services, Tori has always been driven to grow herself and connect deeply with others. Eight years ago, she became aware of a deeply divided country, and that awareness became action. Today, Tori works in corporate education, designing adult learning experiences, while spending her free time organizing protests, enabling Experimental Conversations, and launching an activist commentary podcast. She found her way to ShowUpForGood through volunteering with 50501, a nonpartisan protest enablement movement, where she met founder Jackie and instantly recognized a shared drive to seek deep understanding and build the kinds of meaningful connections our world needs more of. Tori brings an educational philosophy and pedagogy to experimental conversations, laying the foundations with Jackie to grow the curriculum and content into a memorable and valuable experience for participants.

Jenny Hill Pankratz

Jenny has spent most of her working life in the fields of music and education, and it's in this world that she met Jackie Burt. She is a mother, musician, and adventurer who loves working with and helping people, being a steward of the land, and contributing in any way she can to make the world happier, healthier, kinder, and in a better state than she found it. Jenny is thrilled to be part of Showupforgood and its creative team, and believes wholeheartedly in its mission. In her free time, Jenny can be found exploring with her 2-year old son, husband, and pup, gardening, running, making music and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Sammy Burt

Sammy Burt is a prolific artist whose talents include making music, performing live, and creating video content, among others. Sam is Showupforgood’s biggest fan and supporter, helping with everything from workshopping ideas, recording outings, building videos, constructing criticism , and helping with any and all odd jobs we throw at them. Sam has been helping their mom with her inventions and creations for a lifetime, and we don’t see any reason this would not continue :) Sam is a genuine friend, loves to have fun, and specializes in adventurous endeavors.

Emma Burt

Emma grew up with the constant creative influence of her mom’s big ideas about how to improve the world we live in, and through this, learned to be a problem solver from a young age. She has always been passionate about helping others and making the world a more thoughtful place. Emma works as a genetic counselor at a local children’s hospital and spends her days working with families to navigate their healthcare, understand genetics, and support their well being through the process. She is involved in training future genetic counselors seeking their master’s degrees in genetic counseling via admissions committee work, student supervision, and teaching courses. Outside of her full time job, Emma spends most of her time focused on hockey - both working and playing. She works part time as an ice technician and brand ambassador for the local NHL team, coaches a girls hockey team, and plays hockey herself. She loves spending time outside with friends and family, skiing, hiking, and exploring. She is honored to be part of the important work that Show Up For Good is doing.
