I was next in line at a gas station. He was purchasing lottery tickets. I handed him a heart and asked if he’d help me change the world if he wins. He thought that was a fine idea. ❤ I will be so thrilled if Ebenezer reaches out. And I wish him the best of luck in the drawing tonight. 😉

Which brings me to the topic of resources. In part, this project aims to experiment with the idea that it should cost very little money to spread goodness far and wide. Kindness is free. Compassion is free. Love is free. Word of-mouth is the best communication tool--also free. Symbolism is easy to create from home; it doesn’t need to be purchased. Sharing is easy from one’s phone. Communication is easy from all angles available to us. Spreading good should not cost much. 

We can help teach capitalism this little message 🙂.

Currently, the webmaster is me (feedback is welcome and encouraged!). The heart-makers are me and my beloved prince Ashley. His hearts are the best and are saved for very special occasions. I am guessing our board members will be next to help. Showupforgood has purchased only a few items and services, and I am currently its sole sponsor. 

I wish to prove this mission can be accomplished without costing individual people money. Goodwill and love are easy to spread, exchange, and share.

I have hope this mission will someday also be supported by the goodwill of caring organizations. I have hope that corporations who stand for love and goodness (Patagonia and Bombas come to mind), and foundations rooted in love and goodness (passiton.org and randomactsofkindness.com) will want to participate, as we will also wish to participate with them for goodness sake! 😉

Back to hearts. I accidentally pulled from the wrong pile in the first batch of 100 😅. So, hearts are no longer ordinal. They are now simply nominal which I actually quite like. I love intentional randomness.

Tonight were shared ❤88 to Wendy, ❤84 Anneka, ❤86 Abby, ❤87 Emmy, ❤85 Carson. ❤81 and 82 are out in the world from tonight too. I have a picture, but I will wait for their consent to post.

And ❤90 Ebenezer. Colorado Springs. 1/18/25 If anyone knows Ebenezer, please let him know that one day ❤90 could have value even bigger than winning the lottery. Because if this love-plan works, we will ALL have won more than the lottery. We will live in a world in which love actually wins and a world in which Ebenezer and I won’t have to wish we had more resources.
